dangerous a d.gray-man ficlet
"Well...this is interesting."

There, he said it out loud, the one thing that he had been thinking. This was not the Allen that Tyki felt he knew, no-- there was more than just the physical difference, there was a raw energy that you didn't get from the boy. Then again, he was not just a boy at the moment, so there went that. Allen, the cheater, the bleeding heart-- the boy he was not. Not for the moment, not until he bit it back and reclaimed his senses.

Yet Allen responded with no more than to grit his teeth just that much more.

For the time being, their hands were clasped together quite unlike a lover's embrace even if it might mimick it, and when Tyki licked his lips there was a distinct taste of copper, even though they'd both long forgotten whose blood was whose. Chest heaved against chest as both of them caught their breath, as the elder of the two had to stop and wonder where he'd lost this battle of dominance.

And yet he smiled, whereas Allen's gaze, hovering just inches above, stayed stony and determined and unforgiving and...well, what was it? Pissed off? Something like that. As if at the smallest wrong move, at the bat of an eyelash, he might swing a vital hit.

All of this now could be avoided, more than likely anyway, if Tyki so desired; that was his prerogative, after all.

But the danger was what made it such a turn on.
